Question 1

What is IntelMemorAI?

Accepted Answer

IntelMemorAI turns any study material — text, PDFs, office documents, images, audio files, YouTube videos, or just a topic title — into AI-generated flash cards, a matching quiz, and a 7-day study plan. Reviews are scheduled with SM-2 spaced repetition, the same algorithm behind Anki.

Question 2

Which file types can I upload?

Accepted Answer

PDF, Word (DOCX), PowerPoint (PPTX), Excel (XLSX), plain text, Markdown, CSV, JSON, HTML, XML, YAML, log files, RTF, and subtitle files (SRT/VTT). Images are read with OCR or described visually, and audio files are transcribed before cards are generated.

Question 3

Does YouTube import need captions or a transcript?

Accepted Answer

No. IntelMemorAI listens to the video directly through the AI model instead of downloading subtitle files, so it works on videos with or without captions — including Shorts and embeds. Very long videos may exceed what the AI can process in one pass.

Question 4

What is SM-2 spaced repetition?

Accepted Answer

SM-2 is the scheduling algorithm behind Anki. After each review you rate the card Again, Hard, Good, or Easy. SM-2 uses that rating to set the card's next interval, resurfacing it right before you would forget it — so you study less while remembering more. Question 5

How many flash cards and quiz questions can one session have?

Accepted Answer

Up to 100 flash cards and up to 100 quiz questions per session. The app recommends a count based on how long your source content is, so short notes don't get padded with filler cards.

Question 6

Can I resume a study session I didn't finish?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Progress in every study mode is saved automatically. The dashboard shows your in-progress sessions and each mode has a Complete button — you can pick up exactly where you left off.

Question 7

Can I add images to my flash cards?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every card can hold one image. Choose Generate with AI and the illustration is created from that card's own question, answer, and session topic, or add your own file. Generating with AI uses one AI action from your monthly allowance; adding your own image uses none. Full details: intelmemorai.com/ai-flashcards-with-images.

Question 8

Can I paste my own screenshot onto a card?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can pick a file, drag it onto the card, or paste it straight from the clipboard. Supported formats are PNG, JPEG, and WebP up to 5 MB, one image per card. Card images are stored privately in your account and are deleted with the session.

Question 9

Is there a free plan?

Accepted Answer

IntelMemorAI is a paid product starting at $4.99/month (Basic, cancel anytime) or $3.99/month billed yearly. Basic includes up to 10 stored study sessions, 200 AI-generated flash cards a month, and 10 PDF or YouTube imports a month. Full details: intelmemorai.com/pricing.

Question 10

When does a study session stop counting toward my limit?

Accepted Answer

A session counts toward your plan limit until you delete it. There is no automatic archive or completion state that frees a slot, so if you hit your storage cap you need to delete an older session before creating a new one.

Question 11

Do quizzes and study plans count against my flashcard limit?

Accepted Answer

Quizzes and study plans do not have their own quota. They are generated alongside your cards and draw on the same monthly allowances: each generation uses AI actions from your 100/month Basic pool (or unlimited on higher plans), and the flash cards created in that session count toward your 200/month flashcard limit.

Question 12

What counts as an AI action?

Accepted Answer

An AI action is any server-side call that uses the AI model on your behalf. The four types are: reading a YouTube video, extracting text from an uploaded file or image, running a quiz-result analysis, and generating a next-study-plan suggestion. Generating the initial flash cards, quiz, and plan for a session also uses AI actions.

Question 13

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from your account settings and keep access until the end of the current billing period — no questions asked. First-time subscribers also have a 14-day refund window.

Question 14

Who owns the content I generate?

Accepted Answer

You do. Your notes, decks, uploads, and generated study materials remain yours.

Question 15

Is my study data private?

Accepted Answer

Your sessions are stored in your private account, protected by row-level access rules, and sync across your devices. Only you can see your sessions and activity log.

Question 16

Is IntelMemorAI good for exam preparation?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that is the main use case. Students preparing for exams, professionals studying for certifications, and self-learners use it to turn lectures, textbooks, and YouTube courses into scheduled practice instead of re-reading notes.

Question 17

Do students get a discount?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Verified students get 30% off Basic and Pro yearly plans. Email us from your school address to apply.
